The program
Lollipop check-ins are short text messages sent on behalf of your employer, operated by Nixar Solutions. A check-in asks how you are. Your employer picks one of two ways: a chat conversation, where you reply with a number from 1 to 5 (with a few words if you like) and get a short reply back, or one text with a link, where you answer on the check-in page. Either way you may get one reminder if you haven’t answered, and, if you are a manager, an alert when someone on your team needs you.
Consent
Your employer adds the mobile number you gave them for messages about work. Before anything else, you get one text asking whether you want check-ins: it says who it is from, that message and data rates may apply, and how to stop. Nothing more is sent until you reply YES; a reply of NO or STOP ends it. The request and how it works are on the consent page. Consent is collected for this program only and is never carried over from another sender.
Message frequency
Up to 2 check-ins a week, each with at most one reminder, plus a short reply when you answer in a chat conversation. Managers also get alerts when someone on their team needs them.
Cost
Lollipop does not charge you for texts. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and texts to that number stop. You will get one confirmation. Reply START to get them again. You can also ask your employer to switch you to email or take you off the list.
Help
Reply HELP to any message for help, or write to jeff@trylollipop.com.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts may not reach every carrier or every device.
Privacy
How your replies are used and who sees them is described in the privacy policy. Mobile information and text message opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
