Terms of service
Last updated October 30, 2026
These terms apply to the company that creates a Lollipop account (“you”) and to the people you add as managers, HR or admins. Lollipop is operated by Nixar Solutions (“we”). By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Lollipop sends check-ins to the people you add, by text, email, Slack or Microsoft Teams, at the check-in times you set; records their answers; alerts the right manager or HR; and shows the results on a dashboard. The price is shown on Settings. We may change features, and we will tell admins before a change removes something they use.
Fair use: on the free month and the paid plan, each person gets at most 2 check-ins a week by text or WhatsApp, and the rest of their check-ins that week go by email, Slack or Microsoft Teams, or not at all to someone with none of those. Email, Slack and Microsoft Teams are unlimited. Enterprise has no fair-use limit.
Your responsibilities
- You add people only with their agreement to receive work check-ins at the number or address you give us, and you confirm that on Settings before texts go out. You take anyone off the list who asks.
- You keep sign-in links private and tell us at once if an account is misused.
- You use check-in answers for the wellbeing of your team and in line with your own policies and the law, not for discrimination or retaliation.
- You do not use Lollipop to send marketing, to reach anyone outside your workforce, or for anything unlawful.
Your data
The check-ins and people on your account are yours. We use them only to run the service, as the privacy policy describes. You can export check-ins from the Check-ins page, and you can ask us for a full export or deletion at any time.
Fees
Every company starts with a free month, with no card needed. After it, Lollipop is charged monthly in advance for each person we sent a check-in to in the last 30 days (everyone else, staff included, is free), at the per-person price shown on Settings when you subscribe, to the card you give our payment processor, Stripe. When that number changes during a month, the charge for the rest of the month changes with it. If the price changes, we tell admins at least 30 days before it applies to you. You can cancel any time from Settings and keep the service until the end of the month you paid for. Once the free month is over with no subscription, or a subscription ends or its payment fails and isn’t fixed, nothing more is sent until you subscribe; your data stays. Enterprise is invoiced as agreed.
Ending the account
The company’s owner can delete it at any time on Settings, once nobody else is in it and any subscription has ended; that deletes everything at once. Admins can delete a person, with their check-ins, on that person’s page. You can also close the account by writing to us. We can close an account that breaks these terms, after telling the admins. When we close an account, you get 30 days to export your data, after which we delete it.
What we promise, and what we don’t
We work to keep Lollipop running and accurate, but texts and emails depend on carriers and providers we don’t control, and a check-in can be delayed or lost. Lollipop is not a medical, crisis or emergency service: the crisis lines it shows are run by others. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Changes and contact
When these terms change, the date at the top changes and admins are told by email. Questions: jeff@trylollipop.com.
